Founded in 2017 by a small group of eight visionary farmers, Tropical Rwenzori Farmers’ Cooperative Society (TRFCS) has grown into a vibrant network of 1,525 members across 44 organized groups in Bundibugyo District, Uganda. We unite over 1,500 cocoa, coffee, and vanilla farmers with a shared mission: to secure better markets, guarantee fair prices, and empower our members especially women with leadership opportunities and climate-smart agricultural skills. Through fair trade principles, sustainable farming practices, and a commitment to community transformation, TRFCS is not just improving livelihoods, it is shaping a future where farming in the Rwenzori region is both profitable and environmentally responsible.
